Professor Green due in Court for drink driving

Professor Green has been charged with drink-driving after an incident last year involving his Mercedes near his home.

The rapper allegedly called police last November to report his Rolex watch had been stolen from him outside his London residence.

However, he was instead arrested for drink driving when police suggested his Mercedes had been involved in a crash with a van and no injuries had been sustained from the alleged mugging.

Professor Green who is married to former Made In Chelsea star Millie Mackintosh is due to appear at Bromley Magistrates’ Court today.

If convicted, the maximum penalty for drink driving is a fine of up to £5,000 or up to 6 months imprisonment. In most cases there is also a driving ban of at least 12 months.
